About the Awards
The Singapore Golden Singa Awards will take place on 28th November 2026 at Resorts World Convention Centre.
With 20 award categories, the event celebrates Chinese-language filmmakers from all parts of the world.
Through open submissions and special invitation, Chinese films can enrol via this official website.
Eligibility Criteria
Chinese-language films over 60 minutes that premiered in theatres or on streaming platforms between 1st June 2025
and 30th June 2026, are eligible. At least 50% of the dialogue must be in Chinese (including dialects or sign language).
Submissions open on 1st June 2026 and close on 31st July 2026.
Submission Period
The Golden Singa Awards follow a fair and transparent selection process. From June 2026, films can be submitted openly or by invitation. In July, a jury of international filmmakers and industry experts will shortlist the nominations for each category. Nominated list will be announced in October. In November, final judging will determine the winners.
